I'm dare to say the Dev is growing everyday. Nowadays the whole team was using Google Reader everyday. From Google Reader alone, we can read so many news, and get a bunch of very useful information. I myself read more than 1000 entries per day, it's like drug addict. Nevertheless other members of the team also practicing it. We can read a broad from PHP, CSS, MySQL, Linux, Apple, Microsoft, Sun, and so much more couldn't listed down all here. BTW, I'm using Google Reader to gain knowledge from phparchitech.
We should consider subscribing to some good magazines.
I am still subscribing to phparchitech and I think LinuxFormat is a quite a good magazine.
In my previous company when we received the latest magazine, it would be circulated round to each person each for few days. (On the front of the magazine is a piece of paper with all the names, and when you have read the magazine, just put a tick)
I believe it is good habit to read a magazine or a book occasionally.
All the content shown here will be viewable to public. Currently Caritech don't have trigger function yet, but in the future if have, the user will have to acknowledge that they would like to been notify when there is a new item in forum topic. As when the forum grows, then there might be let's say 10 items every minute, then the user will received email like spam I think :)
